
HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY/JUNIOR VARSITY
Head Coach: Kyle Boggs
Coach Kyle is originally from Gibraltar, Michigan and grew up playing soccer around the Metro Detroit area. Having played the game since a very young age, he has been on multiple club teams learning the game from excellent coaches. Kyle graduated high school in 2013 from St. Mary’s Catholic Central in Monroe, Michigan where he lettered in varsity all four years. While a member of the team, he was captain during his junior and senior years, received multiple honorable mentions, and made the All-District/All-Region teams. Kyle played at Adrian College, a Division 3 NCAA school in Adrian, Michigan. He was captain of the team during his senior year. Kyle graduated from Adrian College with a B.S. in Geology and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington. He currently works as a Project Manager at Peoples Gas.
Kyle has called the North Hills home for the last seven years. He resides in the area with his wife, Rebecca, and dog, Tessa.
Assistant Coach: Chris EbbertCoach Chris is no stranger to North Hills Soccer. Coach Chris grew up playing for North Hills Soccer Club before playing for clubs such as Pittsburgh Strikers and Arsenal FC Pittsburgh. Coach Chris graduated from North Hills in 2004, was a four-year starter (‘01-’03) and letter winner. Chris was named Most Valuable Defenseman his freshman and junior year. He was tapped captain his senior year along with being named team MVP and All-Section.
Coach Chris was also the kicker and punter for the North Hills football team and was a three-year starter and letter winner. He was named Special Teams MVP his junior and senior year and was named All-Conference. Saying that Coach Chris bleeds red and white is an understatement!
Coach Chris has coached soccer for over a decade. He coaches for North Hills Soccer Club and Steel City FC. He is US Soccer certified in 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 and has a National D License. Chris is an Electrical Cost Estimator at Crawford Consulting Services and resides in the North Hills with his wife Candice, also a North Hills grad, their son Geno and daughter Gemma, and their two dogs, Sadie and Charlie.
Assistant Coach: Billy Welsh
Coach Billy graduated from North Hills High School in 2017. Coach Billy lettered all four years for North Hills Soccer. His team made the playoffs three consecutive years from 2014-2016. Coach Billy played for multiple club teams. His most recent team, North United, saw success at the state and regional level. In addition to soccer, Coach Billy played travel baseball and baseball for North Hills High School. Coach Billy continued his academic and athletic career in baseball at IUP. He earned his Bachelor’s in 2021 and Master’s in 2023 in education. He now teaches and coaches in the Pittsburgh area. Coach Billy holds a US Soccer National D license.
Goalie Coach: Jakob Dunn
Coach Jakob attended Fox Chapel Area High School where he lettered all four years as a goalkeeper. He was the starting varsity goalkeeper for his sophomore, junior, and senior year. He played in a WPIAL final at Highmark Stadium against Canon McMillan in 2016, his sophomore year. Coach Jakob has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old and has played for various club teams including Century United, Beadling SC, and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy. He was invited to play in Genoa and Verona, Italy, when he was 15 where he was coached by Series A goalkeeper coaches.
Coach Jakob continued his academic and athletic career at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He played his first three years and became a student coach his senior year due to injury. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Case Western and now works as a financial services professional.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Head Coach: Todd Dickinson
Todd attended Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY where he won the state championship for soccer his senior year. He played for several traveling clubs in his high school years and was a member of the state ODP team for several years. He has a degree in Material Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and served as a Supply Corps officer in the US Navy. He has been coaching youth soccer for over 20 years and holds an E license from USSF. Todd is extremely grateful to his wife, Clara, and their four children for their generous support in pursuing his passion for coaching.
Head Coach: Bill McKellar
Bill is a 1968 graduate of North Hills. He lettered four years in Track and Field and was team captain his senior year. While earning a degree in Administration of Criminal Justice at CCAC, Bill was a starting goalkeeper and the team was a finalist in the 1969 Region 19 championship. Bill coached the North Hills Girls Middle School Soccer team for 13 years, was a volunteer head coach for the North Hills Soccer Club and Hornet Indoor Soccer Club for 12 years, and was the Deer Lakes Middle School coach for one year. Bill is a retired Allegheny County Deputy Sheriff (Detective / Sergeant) and retired Director of Safety and Security for the North Hills School District. Bill has 17+ years as an assistant jumping coach for North Hills Middle School track and field, and has coached North Hills Middle School Boys soccer for seven years.
Assistant Coach: Travis Ellwod
Coach Travis attended Trinity High School in Washington, Pa. where he played for Washington Soccer Club and was a three year varsity starter for the Hillers. Travis attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and played for the Mountain Cats. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and currently works at MSA as Quality Inspection Tech. Travis has been coaching in the North Hills community for nearly a decade with the North Hills Soccer Club. Travis is U.S soccer certified in 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. Travis currently resides in the North Hills School District with his wife Samantha, a NH graduate, and their two sons Parker and Conner.
Assistant Coach:Sebastian Lloreda
Coach Sebastián is a lifelong player from Colombia, he grew up on neighborhood pitches and club teams that taught him technical quality, creativity, and respect for the game. In Pittsburgh, Sebastián coached a U12 squad to a first-place finish last season by blending clear fundamentals with encouragement, accountability, and fun. Off the field he’s a coffee entrepreneur, and he brings that builder’s mindset to coaching: showing kids how preparation, teamwork, and small daily habits compound into big results. His sessions emphasize ball mastery, decision-making, and character, with simple goals each week so players see their progress. Whether he’s dialing in a roast profile or a pressing trigger, Sebastián believes craft and consistency win over time and he’s excited to help North Hills athletes grow as confident players and great teammates.
